Overview
Topic objects are part of the 4.0 Corporate Package, and are designed to be used in conjunction with Product, Brand, and Topic Tags. They can also be used with Section and Tag objects.
Topic Tags behave very similarly to Tags. Like tags, Topics have two facets:
- The Topic that appears on a piece of content in regards to the taxonomy of the content.
- A Topic Page, similar to a Section Page, which acts as a way to easily display content for a Topic on the site.
Note: By default, the front end of a single Topic page should return a set of results of all assets matching that Topic.
Dynamic List of Assets with this Topic Tag
Dynamic lists are lists whose content satisfies various criteria. Examples of dynamic lists are reader comments and related articles, both of which can continually change.
When you create a dynamic list, you are actually defining search criteria. Every time a visitor loads a web page with a dynamic list, Brightspot searches for content matching the search criteria, and then populates the list accordingly.

This is an optional field. This field will be a Rich Text Editor field, with hyperlink capability – External and Internal. Here is where the editor will place the short biography of the employee.
