The elements that can show up in your Promos are:
- Eyebrow
- The Eyebrow will inherit the promoted asset's parent Section's name and link by default, but there are override options at the asset level and promo module level.
- Promo Title
- The Promo Title will inherit the promoted asset's Promo Override Title but you can override this at the asset and module level.
- Promo Description
- The Promo Description will inherit the promoted asset's Promo Override Description but you can override this at the asset and module level. Frost 2.0 expects your Promo Description field to be a small rich text format bar. If your project does not include a rich text option in your Promo Description, contact your developer, as you will lose some style options in Frost without this feature enabled.
- Author Byline
- The Byline will inherit the promoted asset's Author field. If the promoted asset isn't authorable, or the Author field is empty, this space will collapse.
- If there are multiple Authors credited on the promoted asset, the Authors will appear in the order they're published on the asset, separated with a comma.
- Date
- The Date will interit the publish date on the promoted asset. If there is no publish date being captured by the CMS, then this field will not appear in your Promo.
- The following asset types are the only types can show a Date when they're promoted in Promos:
- Article
- Blog Post
- Gallery
- Listicle
- Press Release
